Biographical History
The Kansas Real Estate Commission was established on July 1, 1947 by the Kansas Real Estate Broker's License Law. The commission provided for the licensing, regulation, and supervision of real estate brokers and salespersons. It receives applications for and issues licenses to qualified applications to do business for a real estate company which has a broker in charge, administers written exams for real estate offices, educates brokers and salespersons through courses while ensuring that they have the required amount of education hours to practice, and investigates complaints against licensees and takes appropriate disciplinary action.
