Biographical History
Young worked from 1917 to 1921 as a government hunter for the U.S. Biological Survey, eradicating predatory animals considered a threat to domestic livestock in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas. In 1921, he transferred to Washington, D.C. continuing his work for the federal government, writing on predator control.
