Biographical History

Musician; born March 15, 1898; began career singing during evangelistic invitations at Billy Sunday rallies and crusades, 1914-1918; worked as a radio vocalist and in radio broadcasting for stations WQJ, WEBH, WMAQ, WENR, and WHT with the program National Farm and Home Hour; served as a war correspondent in the Korean War, journeying to Asia, Europe and Russia on federal government missions; married Clara Christenson, 1951, and had one son.
