Home demostration agent with Texas Agricultural Extension Service. Born in 1900 in Travis County, Texas. Author of several books. Family was involved with breeding Angus cattle. Attended Texas Technological College and Texas Women's University. Received Ph. D. from Texas Women's University in 1957. Active in American Texas Home Economics Association, Texas Agricultural Workers' Association, and Business and Professional Women's Association. Died in 1983 in San Angelo, Texas.

Kate Adele Hill, 1900-1983, was the author of Home Demonstration Work in Texas and Home Builders of West Texas, and a leader in adult education for Texans, especially women. She served in a number of important positions in the Texas Agricultural Extension Service as well as contributing signficantly to the preservation of historically valuble records and clippings.

A home demonstration agent with the Texas Agricultural Extension Service, Kate Adele Hill was born November 19, 1900, in Manor, Texas, and was the author of several books. Her family was engaged in breeding Angus cattle. She attended Texas Technological College and Texas Women's University, receiving her Ph.D. from TWU in 1957. Hill was active in the American Texas Home Economics Association, the Texas Agricultural Workers' Association, and the Business and Professional Women's Association. She died in a San Angelo nursing home on October 30, 1982.
