The Morrison-Knudsen Company, Inc. was incorporated in 1923 in Boise, Idaho. Along with a consortium of companies, known as the Six Companies, Morrison-Knudsen build the Hoover Dam. It was involved in construction projects throughout the West and South America, including work on the Imperial Dam in Utah and in Yosemite National Park. The company also worked on naval construction projects during World War II.
