Biographical History

Annie Jacobs Davis was a Jewish woman who lived in Pittsburgh during the end of the nineteenth century and beginning of the twentieth century. She was involved in the Jewish community and was responsible for the founding of Montefiore Hospital. She is known as the "Mother of Montefiore Hospital."
