Biographical History

The Commission consisted of E. B. Taylor, president, Charles E. Bowles, secretary, Frank Lehmer, assistant secretary, R. N. McLaren, and Thomas Wistar, who met in Omaha in May 1866. They reassembled at Fort Laramie in June where they were joined by Col. H. E. Maynadier.
