Professor of astronomy, director of Chamberlin Observatory, and dean of the College of Liberal Arts, University of Denver, Colorado.
Professor of Astronomy and Applied Mathematics, Director of Chamberlin Observatory, Dean of College of Arts and Sciences, and Dean of Graduate School at University of Denver, Denver, Colo. Instrumental in building University of Denver's Chamberlin Observatory (1890) named after Humphrey B. Chamberlin. Oversaw installation of Observatory's Saegmuller telescope with 20-inch Clark refractor. Notebooks contain astronomical observations made at campus observatory from 1897 to 1925 including Halley's Comet in 1910.
