Governor, politician. Sir Arthur Stanley was Governor of Victoria, 1914-1920; he left Melbourne 30 July 1919. Stanley succeeded as fifth Baron Stanley of Alderley and fifthe Baron Sheffield of Roscommon in 1925.
Stanley, 5th Baron Stanley of Alderley, was Governor of Victoria from 23 February, 1914 to 30 January, 1920.
