Biographical History

Historian, author and publisher. Best known for books about Yosemite. Has lived near park since 1961. Founder and operator of Flying Spur Press. Weekly column for "Mariposa Gazette." Books include: "Pioneers in Petticoats" (1966); "John Muir in Yosemite" (1972); and, "Yosemite, the First Hundred Years, 1890-1990" (1988).
