Biographical History

Twenty-Fifth Colored Infantry was stationed in Opelousas, La., in St. Landry Parish and was commanded by Captain Frank M. Cone. Several of the regiment's soldiers and citizens under protection of the regiment were victims of violence from the Ku Klux Klan.
