Cleveland, E. E. (Edward Earl), 1921-
Variant namesE E. Cleveland is a noted Seventh-day Adventist evangelist, church leader, author, and worldwide speaker on religion and civil rights. As an evangelist he conducted over 60 public evangelistic campaigns across six continents in nearly 70 countries. He is the first Black Adventist church leader to be sent to Asia, Europe, South America, and Australia. As an author he wrote 16 books and many articles as well as serving as a contributing or associate editor of several denominational magazines. He is also known for his work in promoting social justice, particularly in the civil rights movement in the United States.
