Aston, Tilly, 1873-
Variant namesTilly Aston, blind from childhood, studied at the Royal Institute for the Blind and was the first blind student to Matriculate from there. She was appointed as special teacher at the Institute by the Education Department. She was also a foundation member of the Association for the Blind and promoted the Braille Library.
