Kevin McColley was born December 3, 1961, in Waseca, MN. He was in the U. S. Navy during the 1980s, and it was while serving aboard a crowded ship that he decided writing would provide a good escape for him. He has since written two books, while working as assistant manager of a health club. He wrote, and threw away, several books incorporating great themes like life and death, but considered them too preachy. Now he concentrates instead upon just telling a good story, though he does try to include subtle lessons in them.
