Bissière, Roger 1886-1964
Variant namesFrench painter and designer, whose work had affinities to the Cubist movement yet remained distinct from it. Though Bissière was known principally for his painting, trouble with his eyesight led him to explore other art forms such as tapestry, stained glass and sculpture.
