Edmund Waddill, Jr. (b. May 22, 1855, Charles City County, Va.-d. Apr. 9, 1931, Richmond, Va.), son of Edmund Waddill and Mary Louisa Redwood Waddill, was a state court judge in Virginia from 1880 to 1883, and served as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia from 1883 to 1885. He was a member of the Virginia State House of Delegates from 1886 to 1889. He was a U.S. Representative from Virginia for the 3rd District in 1890 and 1891, then judge of U.S. District Court from 1908 to 1921. He served as judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit from 1921 until his death in 1931.
