McLaren, Geoffrey Thomas, 1921-1992
Variant namesPolitician, poultry farmer. Born 1921 at Koroit, western Victoria. Went to Murray Bridge in 1950 and established the Golden Yolk poultry farm on Murray River in 1960-61. Became president of the Murray Bridge ALP sub-branch in 1957. Elected to the Senate in 1970 and retired in 1983.
