Wray, John, Sir, 1586-1655
Variant namesSir John Wray, parliamentarian, son of Sir William Wray of Glentworth (1555-1617). He spent the last three years of his minority touring Europe. Knighted in 1612, he represented the county of Lincoln in the first, third, and fourth parliaments of Charles I and the Long Parliament.
