Fox, Fontaine, 1884-1964
Variant namesA native of Louisville, Ky., Fontaine Fox was a cartoonist best known for his "Toonerville Trolley" series of cartoons. He worked for newspapers in Louisville and Chicago and later moved to New York when his work was syndicated to about three hundred newspapers.
