Gibbs, May
Variant namesMay Gibbs, c.1876-1969, was an author and illustrator of children's books and a cartoonist. Born in England, she migrated to Western Australia when four years old. She travelled back to England to study art but returned to Western Australia, moving in 1914 to Sydney. She married James Ossoli Kelly in 1918.
