Dixon, Robert, 1800-1858
Variant namesA surveyor and explorer, Dixon went to Moreton Bay in 1839 and in 1840 was appointed surveyor in charge of the Moreton Bay district. He was later suspended by the commandant, Lieutenant Gorman.
