Barrow, Alexander, 1801-1846
Variant namesAlexander Barrow was U.S. Senator for Louisiana from 1841 until his death in 1846. Martin Duralde had been captain of the militia and civil and military commandant of the Post of Opelousas, La., and was son-in-law to Henry Clay.
