Symmonds, Charles Jacobs, 1866-1941
Variant namesCharles Jacobs Symmonds (b. Oct. 6, 1866, Holland, Michigan-d. July 16, 1941), Brigadier General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1890. He served in the Spanish-American War and was commander, Intermediate Depot, the principal storage depot of the American Expeditionary Force in France, during World War I. He retired in October 1930.
