Massachusetts. Board of Registration of Allied Health Professions.
St 1951, c 656 gave the Board of Registration in Medicine responsibility for registering physical therapists to practice in Massachusetts. St 1982, c 667 transferred this responsibility to a newly created Board of (on) Allied Health Professions (currently known as the Board of Registration of Allied Health Professions) which was also given responsibility for registering physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and athletic trainers.
