Raymond Bartlett Stevens (1874-1942) served as Commissioner of the U.S. Shipping Board from March 15, 1917 to June 15, 1920. He became Vice Chairman of the Board on July 27, 1917. Stevens also served as the American representative to the Allied Maritime Transport Council in 1917 and 1918.
