Daisy Newman, Radcliffe College, Class of 1926, was head resident of Holmes Hall and manager of the concerts given at Holmes Hall from 1957 to 1962. Four to five concerts were given each year, bringing in well-known soloists and ensembles to the college. Other events, such as informal dances and sight-reading for singers and instrumentalists, were also organized.
