Klein, A. M. (Abraham Moses), 1909-1972
Variant namesA. M. Klein was a Canadian poet who was born in the Ukraine of orthodox Jewish parents; he grew up in Montreal and became a lawyer by profession. As a student at McGill he founded a literary magazine and was associated with the "Montreal Group" of poets. His publications include: Hath Not a Jew (1940); The Hitleriad (1944); The Rocking Chair (1948); and Collected Poems; (1990).
