Derek Ernest Denny-Brown, 1901-1981, was James Jackson Putnam Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Denny-Brown served as director of the neurological unit at Boston City Hospital from 1941 to 1967. Denny-Brown's research focused on clinical neurology and the physiology and pathology of motor disorders including cerebral palsy and Parkinson's disease.
