Hill, Harry W. (Harry Wilbur), 1890-1971
Variant namesHarry Wilbur Hill (1890-1971), U.S. Naval officer, served in both World Wars. He was commander of Battleship Division Four from 1942 to 1943, then commander of the amphibious forces at Okinawa from April to June 1945. He later served as commandant of the National War College from 1947 to 1949, and as superintendent of Annapolis from 1950 until his retirement in May 1952.
