Morris Richard “Dick” Jeppson was born on June 23rd, 1922 in Logan, Utah to Robert and Elsie Smith Jeppson. He was one of three boys in his family and grew up in Carson City, Nevada. Dick attended school at Yale, Harvard, and MIT and studied electronics and radars. He served in the military from 1943-1946 and was a test officer on the Enola Gay when it dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. He later founded several companies and developed many inventions. He married Molly Ann Hussey and was father to six children. He passed away March 30th, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
