John Boynton Philip Clayton Hill (b. May 2, 1879, Annapolis, Maryland-d. May 23, 1941, Washington, D.C.), officer in the U.S. Army and Member, U.S. House of Representatives from 1921 to 1927, graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1900 and from Harvard Law School in 1903. He was judge advocate for the 15th Division and attached to the 14th Cavalry, Mexican border service. He served during World War I as a major and lieutenant colonel in 1918 and 1919.
