Kindl, Patrice

Patrice Kindl was born October 15, 1951 in Alplaus, New York. She ways that when she was 3 years old her family moved to a Victorian house built on a hill, and remained there until she was 8. She feels this house, with its long corridors, many empty rooms, secret stairway, and other amenities, influenced the style of writing she does--Gothic/fantasy for teenagers. She has received several awards and honors for her work.
