Paul Fix was born March 9, 1901 in New York (some sources list March 13). He married Francis Fix, who is shown in this collection modeling a new fashion called the "streamline effect." The 1930 Census shows him residing with his wife, Francis M. Fix (age 27), George Harry (age 25), Memnos Harry (age 51), Marilyn Fix (age 5) and Emlyn Tennies (age 14) in Los Angeles, California. A letter from his daughter, Marilyn, to his wife, is included in this collection. He enjoyed a successful career acting in plays, writing plays, staging plays and acting in movies. He lived in Hollywood when he received some of the letters in this collection. He passed away in Los Angeles on October 14, 1983.
