Malone, Michael, 1942-....
Variant namesMichael Malone is a novelist and television writer from Durham, North Carolina. Educated at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Harvard University, Malone taught at the University of Pennsylvania and Yale but is best known for his work as an author and a writer for the soap operas One Life to Live and Another World . Malone won a 1994 Daytime Emmy Award for Best Writing for his work on One Life to Live . Malone is married to Maureen Quilligan, a professor of English at Duke University. The couple reside at Burnside, a historic home in Hillsborough, N.C.
