Browne, Spencer, 1856-1943
Variant namesMajor-General Browne was a journalist associated for many years with the Brisbane Courier. He served in the Boer War and First World War. Both he and Mrs Browne were musically gifted. F W Robinson was Chairman of the Oxley Library Advisory Committee.
