Derby, Orville A. (Orville Adelbert), 1851-1915
Variant namesOrville A. Derby taught geology and paleontology at Cornell University from 1873-1875. He then moved to Brazil and became a highly respected geologist and mineralogist in that country. He committed suicide in 1915.
