Alexander, Fred, 1899-1996

The Library Board of Western Australia, formed in 1953, was the authority accountable for the operations of the State Library Service of Western Australia, a joint enterprise between the Board and local government authorities, which was responsible for W.A.'s public libraries, as well as the State Library (formerly the Public Library of Western Australia).
