Kingston, Jack, 1955-

Rep. Kingston, educated at the University of Georgia, was a businessman before becoming the U.S. representaive from the First District of Georgia in January 1993. He has remained in office since.

Mr. Kingston, born in Texas, attended public schools in Athens, Georgia, and earned his A.B. at University of Georgia in 1978. He was a member of the Georgia HOuse of Represntatives, 1985-1993, before being elected as a Republican to the 103rd and to the six succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1993 - present).
