Krippner, Stanley, 1932-....
Variant namesStanley Krippner was born in Edgerton, Wisconsin, on October 4, 1932. He attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he received his B.S. in 1954. He then attended Northwestern University and received his M.A. in 1958 and his Ph.D. in 1961.
He was a speech therapist for the city of Warren, Illinois from 1954-1955 and for the public schools of Richmond Virginia from 1955-1956. He was the director of the Child Study Center at Kent State University, from 1961-64. He has also worked at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, as the director of the Dream Laboratory from 1964-73. He taught at various univerisities and is currently at Saybrook Graduate School, San Francisco, as a professor of psychology. Krippner has written many articles and co-authored books on dreams and psychology. More information can be found at his website (http://www.stanleykrippner.com).
