Short, Dewey, 1898-1979
Variant namesDewey Short was a retired Congressman from Missouri who was a member of the United States Congress House Military Affairs Committee during 1935-1957 and the House Armed Services Committee (chairman) from 1953-1955. He was also the Assistant Secretary of the Army from 1957-1961.
