Photographer, 1884-1939. Cecil Bostock was a founder of the Sydney Camera Circle, a group of photographers who met in his art studio to plan photographic exhibitions around Sydney. A fellow co-founder was the well known early twentieth-century photographer Harold Cazneaux. Max Dupain worked as an apprentice for Bostock, from 1930-33 and was influenced by his work. Bostock was also a skilled bookbinder and calligrapher.
