Faÿ, Bernard 1893-1978
Variant namesFaÿ (1893-1978) was a French historian of Franc-American relations who wrote extensively against the Masons. He was part of the Vichy government in France during the German occupation. In particular, he is remembered for the assistance he provided in protecting Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas, Jewish-Americans who remained in France during World War II.
