Saxe, Maurice, comte de, 1696-1750
Variant namesSaxe was the son of an illegitimate son of August the Strong, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony, and the Countess Maria Aurora of Königsmarck. He was known for his military competence and his victories in the Austrian War of Succession.
