Alan Stephenson Boyd (b. 1922) was a member and Chairman of the Civil Aeronautics Board, from 1961 to 1965, Under Secretary of Commerce for Transportation from 1965 to 1967, and Secretary of the Department of Transportation from 1967 to 1969. After leaving the Federal government, he served as an executive in the transportation industry.
