Variant namesPoet. Jennifer Mary Rankin nèe Haynes was born in Chatswood, Sydney on the 28th November 1941, and died in Melbourne 8 December 1979. Although mostly recogonised as a poet, Rankin also wrote plays for radio and theatre.
