Perutz, Leo, 1882-1957
Variant namesPerutz apparently knew Alma Mahler and Franz Werfel in Vienna in the 1930s. Upon the Anschluss in 1938 he fled Austria and, by way of Venice, emigrated to Palestine, where he settled in Tel Aviv. In the 1950s he returned to Austria.
