Charles A. Blair, son of Governor Austin Blair, was born in 1854, and spent most of his life as a resident of Jackson, Mich. He was admitted to the bar in 1876, and practice law in Jackson until elected attorney general in 1903. Blair served until 1905, when he became a member of the Supreme Court, continuing in this office until his death in 1912.
