Edward Milton Chen (born January 20, 1953) is a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and former United States magistrate judge of the same court. On August 7, 2009, President Barack Obama nominated Chen to a seat on the United States District Court for the Northern District of California vacated by the resignation of Martin Jenkins. He received his judicial commission on May 12, 2011.
