George Paul Horse Capture (b. October 20, 1937, Fort Belknap Agency, Montana-d. April 16, 2013, Great Falls, Montana), an enrolled member of the A’aninin (Gros Ventre) tribe, was an anthropologist, activist and writer. He was one of the first Native Americans to be a museum curator, serving as the first curator of the Plains Indian Museum in Cody, Wyoming. He worked for the National Museum of the American Indian, during planning for its new building on the Mall in Washington, D.C.
