Higinbotham, Harlow N. (Harlow Niles), 1838-1919
Variant namesA prominent Chicago (Ill.) merchant, philanthropist partner in the firm of Marshall Field & Co., a director of the World's Columbian Exposition (later the World's Fair) of 1893, the head of the Field Museum of Natural History, and had a number of personal benefactions such as the Chicago Home for Incurables.
